During this weekend Anouk will hold two Therapeutic Yoga workshop sessions in which we go into some theory about e.g. anatomy of the body (Saturday) and the nervous system (Sunday) before diving into a lot of practical exercises that you will be able to use and practice on the yoga mat and in daily life.
YOGA FOR A HEALTHY & HAPPY SPINE
The session on Saturday will be all about how to maintain a healthy and happy spine. Nowadays most of us suffer from back (and hip) pains due to our present lifestyles. Many of these can be found in poor posture and wrong use our body in daily life.
YOGA FOR HEALING FROM STRESS & BURNOUT
On Sunday we will focus on how to deal with stress and burnout symptoms. We will learn what we can do for ourselves to reduce stress and anxiety and how to prevent or heal from burnout through yoga asana practice, simple breathing and meditation exercises.
Both workshop days can be followed, but they can also be followed separately, depending on your needs and interest. ÂÂÂÂÂ
This Therapeutic Yoga workshop is suitable for everyone who is interested; for all levels of practitioners - beginning yogis also more than welcome!
In case of any serious physical of mental issues (for which you are/have been treated), we ask you to inform the teacher beforehand.
Anouk is a yoga teacher, originally from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, now based in Finland. Besides teaching Yin Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga, she also works as a Life Balance Coaching and Reiki Healer. In all she does, Anouk aims to inspire people in getting the most out of life, in choosing for themselves; to choose to be the most beautiful version of themselves they can be.
Anouk started practicing yoga after a serious burnout, it immediately touched her soul and ever since she has been a dedicated practitioner of Astanga Yoga as well as Yin Yoga. Her love for the Astanga Yoga practice is still growing every day, but Yin Yoga was the practice to profoundly teach her how to balance all aspects of herself and of life, and how to practice yoga asana in a gentler and more self-compassionate way.
